Essentially Condensed Reviews: Michael Jackson - Thriller.

Today I'm looking at the album that spawned half a dozen hits--including "Beat It," "Billie Jean," and "Human Nature"--and jump-started the solo career of the youngest member of Jackson 5. I'm talking of course, about Thriller.

It's, uh...it's got a great beat. Really danceable.

Next week I'll take a look at an album that featured a plain, white cover, and went on to sell millions.

  1. I never was particularly moved by MJ. But when I lived in Saudi in the mid-80s the younger Saudis were so mad for him that his stuff was banned.

  2. It's uh.... uh.... :P Alot of things.

I hate seeing this album cover. When I was a kid and my parents got me my first stereo, this was the complimentary album that went with it. Ugh.

  3. David, I always knew Michael was big in places like Japan, but I never thought about places like Saudi. And, yes, of course they would ban him. Because why not?

Julie, I think you might be the first person to ever "ugh" Thriller.
